Great experience because if u love charcoal bbq food, u'll find that in SG, only expensive Korean restaurant have them. And at Happypot, not only u get to bbq on cute lil stove per person, u get a pot of soup on stove too! Best of both world! and the service is good. They'll check if everything's fine for ur dining experience and will top up the soup. The set of bbq n soup pot per person will be just nice, though it seem little! ^_^ the meat for bbq's well marinated and will really make u feel like ordering more.

I am a regular customer of Happy Pot. Well, concept is good. I have enjoyed all my trips there and the menu juz keeps growing. From the origin hotpot to now, with all the bbq food like bak kut teh and mushroom, its not what you could see in normal kopitiam. Its worth the trip down to Esplanade to taste this delicacy. I'm sure you will ask for more soup when you have tried it.

One of the best soup I have tasted before. The soup base is thick and unique, unlike the other type of soup base I have tasted at other steamboat or hot pot shops. The food is also fresh and tasty. My favourite would be the thinly sliced pork. The Bak Kut Teh is also one of the best I have tasted before. A lot of herbs was placed into the soup when it is being prepared. The pork ribs is also very tasty, it is soft yet chewy. A simple unique taste unlike others. A definitely must try!

A very interesting place to have your dinner if you like to cook food by yourself and enjoy the harmony of the family as well as the Esplanade scenery. Good recommendation dishes include steamboat, DIY barbecue and bak kut teh. The meat, veg, mushrooms... are all fresh and good taste... not forgetting about the soup base as well... you cannot afford to miss the juice from the bbq mushroom. If you love to cook and wish to share your very own home recipe cuisine with more ppl, approach the owner and your home dish may appear "here" in one of these days.
