This Hakka Lei Cha Fan is really the best I have ever tasted in Singapore. Must try. The best thing is that the stall owner is nice to talk to, he seems to know many current affairs. The stall accepts take away by making advance call & pick up at specific time.

I am an open-minded Malay lady and I find this dish to be excellent in taste and nutrition. I love green veggies and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for food low in calories. It is definitely a refreshing change to most food that I ever had, be it Malay, Indian, Western, etc. It is nice and beneficial to have simple food like Lei Cha Fan to detox your system. I eat it at least twice a week!!

The food is healthy, tasty and very satisfying. Must try to believe. Good for clearing toxics in your body, gives you good complexion and excellent food for people going for weight reduction. The brown rice version is doubly nutritional.

I tried a Lei Cha set for dinner today and am feeling compelled to give my $0.02 worth so here goes: It's S-U-P-E-R! The set costs $3 and comprises a bowl of Lei Cha (green basil soup); and a bowl of rice with small servings of lots of different kinds of vegetable, tiny dried prawns, ikan bilis, peanuts, tofu, and preserved turnip (more veggies than rice--a first in my dining out experience--YAY!). You're supposed to dump the whole bowl of soup into the rice bowl and then give it a good mixing before tucking in; the nice owner will gladly explain the process to you if you're a Lei Cha virgin. Don't let the regular-looking portion fool you. I am a hearty eater and was feeling famished when I ordered my share, and I must say it filled me up happily. On top of this, my virtually oil-free dinner left me feeling healthy and good. Oh, did I mention that the food was delicious?
