09/05/2008	Justin YYYYY	My friends invited me to Obar and I find it quite pleasant and cool. We can drink, chill out, watch soccer and play pool. There's great wine mixing / beer counter which is so cool and unique. Before chilling out for drinks while watching soccer, we went over Obar Cafe (the red room corner) to have our dinner first. We tried the teriyaki salmon and loved its sauce! The fries' serving is huge and of course we had to order side order because we sat and ate and chatted for a long time as the red chairs were so comfy and big. We side-ordered the combo basket... crispy hot, yummy and worth it... so big but less than $10! Will certainly go back to Obar again!!! Special dining / drinking place... .

A place to sit back, relax and enjoy the food and ambience, not to forget, in the company of good friends. I've tasted their main course, steak, which wasn't too bad and I like to drink their blue coral. A great place to chill and convenient to travel back home.
08/05/2008	Ms Cindy Wong YYYY	You will never regret visiting Obar! I will never forget the nice cosy cool ambience when you stepped in. First look, it doesn't look like an ordinary normal standard-looking cafe bar place. Instead, it looked unique cos Obar uses a New Generation Concept idea as their interior design. Though it looks rather costly to dine in, the price is actually very reasonable. My friends and I ordered set meals to share and enjoy it very much. The sauce for the teriyaki is fantastic, thick and savory! The chicken cutlet was crispy hot and not too hard. We also ordered their chef's specialty soup. According to Obar, they provide different types of soup on different days. I find Obar restaurant homely and convenient, it's like a place to dine for all Heartlanders! We will definitely go back for more, 2 Thumbs Up!!!
08/05/2008	Mr K K Koh YYYY	I like the place, it's cute and divided into 2 sections: One room for bar and the other for cafe restaurant. The interior ambience is pretty and is well designed. Most importantly, the food like lamb chop and berry milkshake is delicious and not too sweet - just nice enough and the serving is huge. A must to visit here again.

It's a cosy bar and it gives people a sense of homely feeling as well. Cool and probably I will try the Obar Cafe Restaurant for their food next!
07/05/2008	Mr Zul YYYYY	I went Obar a few times with couple of my friends and I think I must certainly leave comment here about their stuff! Personally, I like their idea about different set dinner on each different days of the week. Interesting concept! We can choose and opt in with soup, chicken wings and calamari, fries etc stuff we want on different days as stated in the food menu. It's interesting and at the same time - so delicious and filling!!! I like to give it 5.5 stars overall!
07/05/2008	Ms Shuhui YYYYY	I have always love eating spaghetti and so at Obar, I tried the spaghetti and love it! I remember eating the Asian Spaghetti. The chef there is very friendly and serves big spaghetti, not to forget the soup that I ordered too! It just tasted different and much nicer comparatively... to other places. A must to try!

Whether its the interior design, food, music and staff, I recognised the effort that they have put in to make this place a paradise for the heartlanders and even the party people who patronise more of the pubs and restaurants in town. The food serving was pretty generous, and most importantly their food tasted yummilicious. In these days, most restaurants would simply serve the main course with French fries. However, at Obar & Restaurant you can choose between potato wedges or mashed potato w salad served with the main course. Apart from the food, the ambience of this place made me felt at ease. My boyfriend loves the place as it plays live soccer matches. It is a place whereby all friends can get together and have fun. You don't have to worry that the pub would be noisy like any other pubs. In fact, my friends and I could talk like usual without having to raise our voice. Overall, its a strongly recommended pub & restaurant. Its just located by the side of the main road. Be there to find out the goodness.

I am a night person so I really enjoy coming here to sing and hang out and drink, rather than those expensive KXXX places... still have to call & book place.

They have a cafe / restaurant to eat and try out their delicious western food and next, a pub to drink and sing karaoke!! I think the idea is interesting and the best part is, we can stay and chill till midnight.
