My friend intro this place to me saying that the food there is fresh and they are serving my fav Sirloin Steak therefore i brought a group of friends there to try their food during my sec sch gathering. I was shocked when i was served with my raw steak on a hot stone as i thought such creative method will be only served in restaurants and it will be very expensive but to my surprise, it only cost me $10.80 and it comes with mashed potato mixed with egg. I really love the side dish. Overall, the whole dish's portion is big and by paying a reasonable price, i had a full meal. I will definitely intro other friends to dine there and i will be back again to try their Salmon as it is also one of my fav food... .

I went to this place with my good friend, Priscilla over the weekend dated 18 December 2010 for dinner. I ordered the spicy chicken chop while Priscilla ordered the sirloin steak. In addition, we order some side dishes since both of us are quite hungry while looking at the menu. The pictures will makes you hungrier! I realized that they had a range of other equally scrumptious specialties too like fresh grill prawns, sirloin steak, ribeye steak, spicy chicken chop. Oh there are simply too many dishes to be mentioned. Consequently, I will be doing this place-Stonegrill Express a disservice if I do not comment on their food!

This was the first time I actually grilled my own spicy chicken chop on a natural volcanic stone heated to precisely 400 degree Celsius in the Stonegrill oven. The chicken came raw, and you are supposed to grill it or rather cook it yourself. What amazes me was that, the skin and fat of the chicken chop that I had ordered was removed by the chief. The sirloin steak that my good friend had ordered, the fats were also removed! For those encourage healthy eating, this will be the added point to go there for a try.
It was an unique and interactive dining experience for Priscilla and me. The presentation of the food served is attractive; taste of the chicken when fully cooked is appetizing, is tender and succulent. It comes with a dark brown sauce that I suppose had added some black peppers on it. It tastes superb on its own without dipping on the chicken chop. On top of it, the dish came with coslaw, mashed potato and a piece of tomato. The mashed potato is very different from other restaurant that I had tried. The mashed potato had added some egg on it, or this is what I had tasted after trying the mash potato. Coslaw, mashed potato, garnish and condiments are placed in the side compartments of the serving tray.
With regards to the healthy issue, the natural volcanic stone heated to precisely 400 degree Celsius makes the oil from the chicken chop dripped out and uses the fats to actually cook the chicken. Therefore, no additional oil is added for the grilling is required. Definitely a must go place to try this yourselves!!
Excellent food and service in combination, at a very good price, really value-for money! When we asked for the bill, I was pleasantly surprised too! The prices were very reasonable too, given the large servings and service by their friendly staff. I will definitely patronize this place again

Went to a restaurant nearby, and then... found out this small little eatery hidden at a corner of the coffee shop - STONEGRILL EXPRESS . Looked at the menu, and decided to have a try. This is what i had. Yummy "Grill Garlic Chicken".
This dish is quite big, and I think it can be shared by 2 person. The chicken came raw, and you are supposed to grill it or rather cook it yourself. The concept is similar to pepper lunch. I've tried the pepper lunch express before, but felt that this is way much better than that. So yea, decided that I'll be going back for more =) The chicken when fully cooked, is tender and succulent and is not overcooked. It comes with some sort of brown sauce or black pepper sauce. But it tasted just as wonderful on its own. On top of that, the dish came with a coslaw and a mashed potato with a piece of tomato. The mash potato tasted very smooth! In fact, one of the most delicious mashed potatoes that I ever had. I think they added some egg into it, can taste some egg in it. (that is what i guess anyway) Overall, it is a very nice and healthy meal. About the healthy issue, the stonegrill actually makes the oil from the chicken dripped out and use the chicken fat to actually cook the chicken. No additional oil is added for the grilling. So yea, its healthy! And it's supported by some health organisation thingy.

Happy me to find a new hidden eatery. Life is not so bored and dull after all when you can cook your food to your own delight and best of all is healthy.

My family had our dinner at Stonegrill Express and I simply loves the ribeye steak as the meat is very tender and I start leraning to cook myself for my dinner! Its fun and I would like to add that the whipped potato is superb too. Highly recommended for such a high quality food at a coffee shop.

The food is definitely value for money!!! Highly recommended!!! I had the chicken chop and fish fillet, it was awesome, everyone should try it. Its definitely worth the trip down; I assure you won't regret eating it. : )

Just wanted to compliment the chef for the fabulous meal. Not only the price is reasonable but there are variety of selection too. The staffs are attentive and always welcome customers with warm hospitality. The food taste as good compared with those restaurants in city, even though it is located at HDB coffee shop. The food is prepared using fresh ingredients to ensure visitors enjoy delicious and nutritious meal. In addition, it is also fun to cook your own meal on stone. All you have to do is simpy heat it up till it is cooked.

I had been a picky eater where Western Food is concern, but after I tried the spicy chicken and the mashed potatoes I got hook by it. The chicken meat was very tender & juicy, the mashed potatoes have its own special tastes which I can't find it in any other western restaurant. Its really superb! The price is very reasonable & its worth paying for. MUST TRY and you will be back for more.

I went there on Christmas day with my family to try out the food outlet which my friend's had recommend. It was indeed mouthwatering after tasting the food. My children love their mesh potatoes which can't be found in any other stall. We tried their Sirloin Steak, Spicy Chicken and Garlic Chicken and would like to rate it as 10/10 as the meat was so tender and juicy. I agreed with the other as "Die Die Must Try" or though it's a bit far in distant but worth the value.

I personally find the food served in this stall is very good, make me drool before the food arrived. I also find it very fun to cook my own food, whether you want it raw or well done, its up to you. My favorite dish would be the fish & chips and spicy chicken chop, specially the whip potato, its better than anywhere else. So, its just can said that food is delicious and at competitive pricing.

I went with my family members and all of us enjoy the food very much. The right proportion of the meat together with the tasty salad and delicious whip potato compliment the whole dining experience. Though they only served black pepper sauce but they are pretty tasty. Restaurant food at food court price. Definitely value for money!!! Highly recommended!!!!
