After watching the Buzzing Cashier from Channel U, I decided to bring my family down for a try yesterday. I am impressed by Benson (Boss) who was very patiently answering me all the queries on the food the day before I went down. The food was served up in a while which didn't take very long. My family and I are very pleased with the food as well as the reasonable pricing. Benson himself also came out to say hello to us which wasn't expected. We tried the Vinegar Pig Trotters, Coconut Milk Prawns, Steamed Song Fish Head, Herbal Roast Duck and 2 other veges. Overall, all very pleased with the food except maybe the tables should be re-organised instead of having them in the alley and too little tables. Well, that will not stop me and my family from pardoning Tong Kay again. All the best to Tong Kay!! |

I've tasted countless hawkers selling roast ducks, also countless RESTAURANTS claiming their ducks are superb... But most prove to be so so, alright, rather palettable or just fine, nothing memorable which I'll even recall and want to go back for more. Tong Kay is the first duck stall I've come across that I'd like to go back for more. It's GOOD! I can taste from the duck they serve, the heart and effort being put in. In this stall, there's no cook or hawker. Whoever that does the cooking, is a CHEF. Good enough to own his / her cooking program. |

I was having dinner with my husband at Tong Kay last week. The skin of the Beijing Roast Duck is indeed very crispy and the meat was juicy. My husband likes their roast pork most, commenting the meat portion was generous and the skin is very crispy. Apart from the food, the boss is very friendly also. Is worth the trip there! Try it!!! |

Want to try the original Beijing Roast Duck? Come to "Tong Kay" n you will not regret!!! Owner is well trained and learnt the original skill from China. The roast duck, roast pork and char siew are all very tasty and yummy. According to the customers, the skin of the roast duck is fragrance and crispy. Skin of roast pork is crispy but not hard compared to most stalls. Worth giving a try!!! |
