		<description>Tucked away right at the quiet end of River Valley Road, I was pleasantly surprised to find a goldmine at Valley Point Shopping centre when both me and my wife had to drop by Cold Storage for last minute groceries.  We were both hungry and thirsty and decided to see what options we had in the Mall.

Stepped in and was greeted by their friendly staff advising me on their dinner menu.  I was charmed by the very nice woody theme and the place somehow made me feel so relaxed.  It was a Friday night and was pretty filled up but yet it wasnt stressful like most places you find in Orchard Road on a Friday.   Menu had a nice variety of European fare like Fish &amp; Chips, Seafood Pastas, Burgers, Steak and Stews... but what was interesting was finding Duck Confit on the Menu.   I went for the Duck Confit and my wife, their highly recommended Authentic Brit Fish &amp; Chips.   We also ordered their Tomato and cheese capresse salad and Grilled Seafood starters.  

They had a Beer and Wine Menu which was 3 times thicker than their food menu...  the staff told us they had 76 different beers!!   I loved dark beers and was recommended a beer called the Wychwood Hobgoblin.  My wife loved Ciders and she had Greengoblin by Thatchers.  Both were fantastic recommendations,  hats off to their staff for knowledge.

The food arrived and the salad and grilled seafood were extremely fresh and done well.   The best were yet to come...  The Fish &amp; Chips was, according to my wife, one of the best she has had in SIngapore.  Batter was crispy, light and not too oily, with the fish fluffy and substantial.  The house tartar sauce was perfectly tangy and to add to authenticity, malt vinegar was also served on the side, just like how the brits do it!   The Duck confit was awesome.  Best I&#039;ve had considering I travel a lot abroad.   The duck was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, with the meat falling off the bone.  I cannot describe how surprised we were at the food considering you normally will find pub grub at most other Gastrobars.

We will definitely be back with friends to try the other dishes and the 74 other beers!!</description>

Most fried fish that I have tasted are not fresh and the broth has no taste or fishy. But THIS stall is very good. And really affordable to eat it everday.
