"Ke Kou Duck" is located in Jurong West and run by Mr & Mrs Siew. We specialized in Braised Duck, Kway Chap and Roast Meat and have more than ten years of experience. In the early years, I helped my brother selling braised duck rice in Bukit Batok. At that time I was only ten years old, and have started learning methods and techniques of cooking braised duck. Over many years of training, I finally mastered the skills and in year 2000, I opened "Ke Kou Duck" together with my husband.
The unique about "Ke Kou Duck" is we used the Semi-Duck because it offers thin skin and thick meat. Semi-Duck is braised together with old garlic, galangal and some herbs for about one and a half hours. The resultant braised duck is tender and succulent, and taste even better with our special chili sauce. The braised duck soup herbs are star anise, cinnamon, angelica, wolfberry, licorice, etc... light-taste, aromatic and delicious. The preparation work for the Kway Chap ingredients is not easy... we have clean the pig offal thoroughly before it was boiled with herbs. Our Kway Chap slices are smooth, Kway Chap ingredients are tasty and the soup is fragrant, you will definitely want to gve it a try today!
