"Bugis (Longhouse) Lim Kee Beef Noodles" was established in 1945 by mr father and was located in Bugis. With his superb cooking skills, his beef, beef balls and mixed beef parts were very popular and demanding and hence his stall was very famous in Bugis at that time. I used to help my father to run the beef stall at very young age and imperceptibly influenced by my father and has learned his skills... gradually I took over my father's business. In 1985, Bugis was under the redevelopment plan and "Lim Kee Beef Noodles" is forced to move to Longhouse hawker centre next to Jalan Besar Stadium. Eventually, business pick up very fast and I managed to bring my father's business up to another peak.
Now the stall is run by myself and Mary. We have chosen Australian beef as the meat is extremely tender. The preparation of beef juice and soup was very important as this was the main core of our business. We use bones, tripe, beef tendon and beef to boil for hours and resulting in both thick and flavorful soup taste. It was so appetizing! Come today and have a try on "Lim Kee Beef Noodles", the aromatic tender meat and refreshing soup base will definitely please you taste buds.
