“白沙浮(长屋)林记牛肉粿条”于1945年由陈老先生创立,当时座落在白沙浮。 陈老的高超烹煮手艺,煮出来的牛肉、牛肉丸和牛什很受欢迎,所以很快就在白沙 浮闯出了名堂。陈先生从小就在父亲的档口帮忙,耳濡目染下也学会了父亲的手 艺,开始逐步接手父亲的生意。1985年,随着白沙浮的发展,“林记牛肉粿条”被 迫搬迁到惹兰勿刹体育场旁的长屋熟食中心,但是很快地陈先生就在长屋打响了知 名度,把父亲的生意推向另一个高峰。 这间远近驰名的“白沙浮(长屋)林记牛肉粿条”目前由陈先生和妻子打理。他们 选用的是澳洲牛肉,肉质鲜嫩无比,而牛肉汁和汤水更是他们的活招牌,用的是牛 骨、牛肚、牛筋以及牛肉熬上数小时,因此熬出来的牛肉汁和汤水味道既浓又香, 让人食指大动。一碗热腾腾的牛肉粿条,肉嫩芳香又爽口,汤水更是鲜甜,你又怎 能错过呢?
"Bugis (Longhouse) Lim Kee Beef Noodles" was established in 1945 by Mr Tan's father and was located in Bugis. With his superb cooking skills, his beef, beef balls and mixed beef parts were very popular and demanding and hence his stall was very famous in Bugis at that time. Mr Tan used to help his father to run the beef stall at very young age and imperceptibly influenced by his father and has learned his father's skills... gradually he took over his father's business. In 1985, Bugis was under the redevelopment plan and "Lim Kee Beef Noodles" is forced to move to Longhouse hawker centre next to Jalan Besar Stadium. Eventually, business pick up very fast and Mr Tan managed to bring his father's business up to another peak. Now the stall is run by Mr Tan and his wife. They have chosen Australian beef as the meat is extremely tender. The preparation of beef juice and soup was very important as this was the main core of their business. They use bones, tripe, beef tendon and beef to boil for hours and resulting in both thick and flavorful soup taste. It was so appetizing!
