A Note From Owner 老板的心声: |

Our founder (my father), who was popularly known as Janggut, was the first person selling nonya laksa at Katong under the name, Marine Parade Laksa. From the very beginning, he served his laksa with spoons, cutting the noodles shorter to make them easy for scooping. Later, my father and my brothers (one of them was know as mini Janggut) opened a new stall at No. 49 East Coast Road. Due to my father old age, my uncle took over the stall in the later stage. My brothers later took a one-year break and re-opened it at No. 57. Today, we have reunited at No. 50 East Coast Road #01-64/72 Roxy Square and has opened another two branches at Bedok and Queensway. |
