THE STONEGRILL CONCEPT
The method of cooking food on stones can be traced back to the Ancient Egyptians and Vikings. Through the introduction and development of it's Concept and System, Stonegrill International have refined and perfected this age-old idea for the modern-day diner and restaurateur.
STONEGRILL
STONEGRILL offers a unique interactive dining experience where diners meals are served cooking at the table on natural volcanic stones heated to 400 degree Celsius. The higher temperature obtained with the Stonegrill Method, sears the product faster and locks in the natural juices and nutrients, enhancing the full flavour and tenderness of all foods. Stonegrill's unique "dry cooking" method uses no added fats or oils and sears the food without burning. The method also eliminates product shrinkage, taste transfer from cooking compounds and carbonization of the cooking surface. This ensures a clean, and completely natural food flavour, not achieveable with conventional cooking methods. The result is a freshly grilled, healthy and nutritious meal with a sensational taste, unique to STONEGRILL.
STONEGRILL DINING
Stonegrill dining enables patrons to enjoy a meal freshly grilled to personal taste, whether it be rare, medium or well done. When a Stonegrill meal is presented at the table, diners simply turn over their Stonegrill selection, then cut and side-lay a portion or two, allowing these to sear and cook to their liking. Their meal remains hot and enjoyable, as the natural volcanic stone retains a prime cooking temperature for 30 minutes, allowing diners to eat at leisure, with every bite as hot and delicious as the first.
METHOD OF OPERATION
The stone is heated to precisely 400 degree Celsius in the Stonegrill oven. It is then removed with the oven scoop provided, and placed upon the stainless steel tray contained within the specially designed ceramic underplate. The selected food item is then placed on the stone, vegetables, garnish and condiments are placed in the side compartments of the protective ceramic serving tray. The meal is then ready to be presented at the diner's table.
STONES
The specially selected stones, chosen for their high latent heat retention, are non toxic, non porous, and pass the FDA safety requirements. Other types of stone cannot capture and retain the perfect temperature essential for Stonegrill cooking. This stone retains a "prime cooking" temperature for 30 minutes, and remains hot for more than 60 minutes.

| 4 Jan 2011 | Joyce Lim / Student | I went to this place with my good friend, Priscilla over the weekend dated 18 December 2010 for dinner. I ordered the spicy chicken chop while Priscilla ordered the sirloin steak. In addition, we order some side dishes since both of us are quite hungry while looking at the menu. The pictures will makes you hungrier! I realized that they had a range of other equally scrumptious specialties too like fresh grill prawns, sirloin steak, ribeye steak, spicy chicken chop. Oh there are simply too many dishes to be mentioned. Consequently, I will be doing this place-Stonegrill Express a disservice if I do not comment on their food! This was the first time I actually grilled my own spicy chicken chop on a natural volcanic stone heated to precisely 400 degree Celsius in the Stonegrill oven. The chicken came raw, and you are supposed to grill it or rather cook it yourself. What amazes me was that, the skin and fat of the chicken chop that I had ordered was removed by the chief. The sirloin steak that my good friend had ordered, the fats were also removed! For those encourage healthy eating, this will be the added point to go there for a try. |

The staffs are attentive and always welcome customers with warm hospitality. The food taste as good compared with those restaurants in city, even though it is located at HDB coffee shop. The food is prepared using fresh ingredients to ensure visitors enjoy delicious and nutritious meal. In addition, it is also fun to cook your own meal on stone. All you have to do is simpy heat it up till it is cooked. |

| 9 Jan 2008 | Mr Benjamin Goh / Sales Manager | I went there on Christmas day with my family to try out the food outlet which my friend’s had recommend. It was indeed mouthwatering after tasting the food. My children love their mesh potatoes which can’t be found in any other stall. We tried their Sirloin Steak, Spicy Chicken and Garlic Chicken and would like to rate it as 10/10 as the meat was so tender and juicy. I agreed with the other as “Die Die Must Try” or though it’s a bit far in distant but worth the value. |
