A Note From Owner 老板的心声:

Our stall started out as a roadside venture in front of the ice factory, at Sungei Road in 1956.

At that time each bowl of laksa cost only 30 cents. When the business moved to a coffee shop along Sungei Road during the 1970s, the price was raised to 50 cents. During the 1980s, a bowl costs $1. Now, it is $2.

The tradition way of giving out only spoons so that customers will be able to enjoy the unique taste and flavor of the laksa ingredients together with the noodles instead of a pair of chopsticks.

Our spicy soup and chilly are self-made. Charcoal-cooked laksa, topped with fresh cockles and slices of fishcakes, this simple styled laksa is well-loved by many laksa lovers.
