擂茶的起源: 擂茶的起源渊远流长，有远至秦朝，近至唐朝的不同传说。相传在八百年前的唐朝，客家人就已 经把擂茶当作是一种招待贵宾不可缺少的风俗文化。为了寻找更好的生活环境，客家人便开始南 迁，途中历尽艰酸，幸好他们所携带的擂茶不但可以解渴，也能充饥，甚受欢迎。定居后，客家 人便把擂茶继续的流传下来，因为它正好代表着客家人那股刻骨耐劳的精神。 |

擂茶的典故: 擂茶为客家人招待贵客的一种茶点，是以陶制擂缽将茶叶、花生、芝麻等原料研磨后冲入沸水调 匀，再加玄米后饮用，擂茶能解渴，能充饥亦可当保健饮料。擂茶之所以成为客家饮食是因为其 主要原料[米仔]和其它材料轻巧易携带，而研磨(擂-客语)器具[擂缽]- 陶土烧制，[擂棍]香树作 成，易取得易使用。对招待贵客客家人把擂茶当作是一种茶点，配上客家之米糕、发糕不失客家 之传统风味，更使人有怀思故情之意。
古早时期，人们将一些食材，诸如黄豆、芝麻、萝卜、花生等，以擂缽研磨之，取其精致细腻， 而擂茶，即是传统客家人以生茶叶、芝麻、花生、紫苏、九层塔、香菜、香葱等十余养生食材， 放入擂缽研磨为细致的粉末，加盐冲热开水而成。擂茶不仅是茶品，客家人亦将它当作饭后健胃 整肠的汤品。讲究点的人家，甚且拌上由客家咸猪肉、虾米、萝卜干、豆干、青豆、红葱头、香 菜加入白饭大炒，做为佐料冲入擂茶，成为香味四溢、养生概念十足，令人食指大动的茶泡饭!
擂茶之材料均为天然植物又具有滋养之效。据老祖宗说，擂茶具有开胃、健脾、明目清肝和平五 脏、降血压、减肥、美容功效，故名养生茶。它不仅高钙、高铁、高纤维，更含有丰富维他命 群，口感奇佳。 |
