友利九楼薄饼典故 "老板,脆脆的多一点"这句话,几乎是每位顾客光顾时的要求。 九楼薄饼陈老板一向来都坚持采用自制配料(无花生米),让顾客吃出口感与咬劲十足的脆脆粒,再搭配自家酱料把两种味道 发挥得淋漓尽致。老板以慢火烹制沙葛,入味又不油腻。 九楼薄饼自60年代就开始营业,从流动推车摊位至今仍旧保留着古早熟悉的口感。从早期位 於九楼熟食中心(大牌13,惹兰登德兰)到现在已走过40多个年头。在这之前,陈老板的母亲 以售卖传统薄饼为生时就已经得到顾客的好评,大家也俗称她为-薄饼婆。当生意做开后,她 便把生意开枝散叶,分配给孩子,让他们各自拥有自己的摊位。而在那时候,陈老板也从早 期的流动小贩搬迁到大牌13,惹兰登德兰,也称为九楼巴刹。许多人好奇问道:"为什么叫九 楼? 不是十楼? 三楼?"。原来,在那周围的组屋都偏低,只有九层楼高,所以叫九楼巴刹。 在80年代,九楼巴刹被拆除,陈老板便搬迁到大牌29,明地迷亚路。陈老板再一次以他多年纯熟手艺,很快就拥有了新的支 持者。多年以后,许多吃过他当年薄饼的小顾客在偶然的情况下发现了他都不约而同地向亲戚朋友们推荐。他们常说"我们从 小到大都是你的顾客,从小到大都吃你的薄饼"。至今,老板也逐渐把一生绝学传给下一代,他也不时督促他们要用心做好薄 饼回馈老顾客。 为了提倡健康饮食,陈老板使用少油多菜制作方法好让从年幼到年长的顾客都吃得开心,安心。
Our History Hi boss, more crispy one please. This has been a common request for regular customers when they ordered their traditional popiah (Spring Roll). Boss of You Li 9 Spring Roll Mr Tan insists on using his self made ingredients (No Peanut) to create his unique crispy bits that provide crunchy, crispy feels for his customers. By blending self made sauce has created a perfect matching for his crispy bits. Mr Tan also patiently cooked the tasty turnip under mid flame that brings out the fragrance of turnip yet not too oily. You Li Spring Roll started business since the early 60s. From the early days of push cart till now, they remains the familiar olden days taste. It has been more than 40 over years since the early location of Blk 13 Tenteram. Before that, Mr Tan's elderly mum was selling spring roll and received good response from customers. Hence, she was widely known as - Granny Popiah. She started to assign different son to set up their respective stalls when their popiah bacame well known. At that time, Mr Tan was assigned to set up his first stall at Blk 13 Jalan Tenteram - 9 storey market. "Why 9 storey? Not 10? nor 3?' asked by curious customers. In fact, there were many low floor HDB flats, and commonly only up to 9 storey high. So everyone address it as 9 storey market. During 80s, market has been demolished and Mr Tan has moved to Blk 29 Bendemeer Road. Nevertheless, Mr Tan once again with his skills has re-establish his customers' base within a short period. Coincidentally, lots of his young customers found him and recommended their friends & relatives about his spring roll. They always say " I'm your customer from young to old, I eat your spring roll from kid to old". Now Mr Tan has gradually passes his skill to new generations, and keep constantly monitoring them to maintain and make good Spring Roll in return for their loyal customers. For good health, Mr Tan has improved his new recipe for more veggies less oil that caters from young kids to elderly folks wishing them eat with peace of mind. |

友利无椰浆浓汁米暹小故事
汤汁稀薄的米暹。开始时,陈太尝试了许多不同地方的米暹,结果发觉汤汁太稀薄。最后来 到了几家售卖汤汁浓厚的米暹,请教之后得知大都加入了椰浆。陈太想烹煮较为健康,不加 椰浆的米暹,於是不断向老前辈们讨教制作无椰浆米暹的窍门。她不停地研究与尝试,再加 上陈老板对调味的敏感,经过一翻努力,他们终于烹煮出一锅香喷喷无椰浆的浓汁米暹。 吃过的顾客多喜爱那浓而不腻的味道,也对他们自制的辣椒置好评。陈太她也成功地把看来 不起眼的小吃注入"心"制作方式。
Story About Mee Siam In Rich Gravy Mee Siam is a common snack food, Mrs Tan is a spicy food lover, therefore she has never wish to make an ordinary thin gravy mee siam with her high expectation for cuisine. Hence, she went to many places to try out different mee siam but realized the gravy was too diluted. Gradually, she managed to locate few places that serve good thick gravy mee siam. Knowing the facts, that most are using coconut milk to enhance the fragrant, yet she wants a more healthier food for the customers. Hence, she make up her mind and seek few elders whom are able to give her good pointers about the unique thick gravy cooking methods. She practiced and did umpteen times of tests with the help of Mr Tan. They finally manage to produce their very first tub of Non coconut milk Thick Gravy Mee Siam. Customers that patronized loves the taste of thick fragrant gravy yet not oily and give good comments about their self made chili. For Mrs Tan, she has successfully made a common food outshine again with their heartwork. |
